Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement 2 5/16 inches diameter aluminum ball mount for the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th wheel trailer hitch system. Now, this part here will replace the hitch ball from your Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th wheel trailer hitch system. Now, that system comes in two different versions. We do sell that separately on our website.
First one is part number AM3200 and the second one is AM3225. Now, I did happen to pull up a insert just to show you that's what that Ultimate Connection 5th wheel system looks like. If you notice at the very center top, you can see this is the hitch ball that goes in there. Now, the ball diameter, again, is 2 5/16 inches. Now, the pin and clip that holds this into place, it is not included.
You can use one if you already have one, or we do sell the pin separately on our website. It's part number AM3430. The diameter of the hole that the pin goes in is 5/8 of an inch. Few measurements on this, the overall height, we'll measure from the bottom to very top of the ball. It's gonna be right at 8 1/2 inches.
Now, there are two adjustment holes. So, if we measure from the bottom, center of the bottom hole to the top of the ball, it's gonna get you a measurement of seven inches. And if we measure from the center of the top hole to the top of the ball is gonna be right at five inches. But that should do it for the review on this replacement 2 5/16 inches diameter aluminum ball for the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th wheel trailer hitch system..
I’m replacing it because I met someone that advised me his failed after 3 year of use, and he lost both his truck and trailer. Mine is 2 1/2 year of use. I’d rather replace it now than have a disaster. The one I have has many wear marks. I wish they made a steel on instead of aluminum.

It looks good just doesn't have the 3 holes I red that when I ordered it but not sure if I can use it or not will find out soon .But the product looks good

Hey Michael. Andersen used to make one like that but currently they only offer the two hole adjustment.
